Three-Day Marketing Assessment

Some companies today are looking for comprehensive assistance with strategic market planning and execution, while others may need specific guidance in positioning (or re-positioning) a new or existing software product. For these customers, SGDM Partners offers a three-day marketing assessment where focused and precise emphasis is placed upon the Analysis segment of the SGDM Strategic Marketing Process.

During this three-day engagement, our consultants will spend one day one-site at your corporate offices interviewing executives and key individuals within your marketing, sales, and development staff.

Day two is spent analyzing collected information collected and correlating this information with Analyst, Press, and other input. Day two is used to compile a detailed Marketing Assessment Report that represents an objective snapshot of your current market position and provides you with key recommendations for positioning and messaging on a go-forward basis. Finally, on day three, we’ll put the finishing touches on the Marketing Assessment Report and present the results to your marketing and/or executive management team.

At the end of this engagement, your custom-tailored Marketing Assessment Report will include the following key detailed elements:

  • SWOT Analysis
  • Ideal Customer Profile
  • Value Proposition
  • Positioning and Messaging

As with all SGDM engagements, the three-day assessment is usually conducted on-site at the client’s corporate offices. In this way, we can work closely with you to ensure all of your objectives are met at the completion of the engagement.

Once the engagement is complete, we’ll work with you to define additional analysis or preparation phases necessary to execute and measure an effective suite of marketing initiatives.
